A thought-provoking, if not sobering, quote.

This is especially true as a result of COVID, which despite claims by those who no longer wear masks is still a danger. How do you build a “real life” community if it’s not safe to be physically close to others? I have no intention of going back to my aerobics or yoga classes.

P.S. A new study published in The NY Times shows that six feet is not enough distance to stay safe. The virus can hang in the air and be carried much further:

“But research then suggested that the virus could also be carried by aerosols, smaller particles that could infect people from farther away. “These particles kind of behave like cigarette smoke — they come out and float around, and they can drift in the air for a while,” said Linsey Marr, an environmental engineer at Virginia Tech. Dr. Marr and others have found that tiny particles as small as five microns may carry more infectious virus than larger droplets, partly because they are generated from deeper in the lungs.”

Alas, I've heard tell that simians *can* be trained with the right reinforcements. Reese's? Belgian chocolate? I can even train my *cat* with a clicker and Churu, lol.
