Kate Morgan Reade: The Focus of His Holiness is on compassion for all creatures capable of thought ("All sentient Beings"), and to contribute towards their individual and common good, whether the good can be attained by one Person, by a Community, now, or, indeed, If collectively we can contribute only components that will come together only after many years or even through a long Epoch.

The John Roberts Court has done worse damage than Trump himself, because this Court has craystallized the Presidential plenary powers of the "Unitary Executive Theory," which will cause severe harm by means of a succession of power-hungry Executives.

It may require several generations of high diligence and strategic planning and Action to restore the Vision of James Madison for separation and balance of powers coupled with due process of law and the rule of law.

So we are mindful of the counsel of His Holiness to fight for our Republic, though we won't live to see the fruits of freedom, because, as Dr Martin Luther King pointed out, "the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice."

So well articulated; thank you! We need every right action each of us can take in all circumstances to move that arc along in any way, no matter how small.

Kate Morgan Reade: As Professor Joyce Vance says, We are in this together.

The extent of the Aryan evil -- louder, magnetic to its gullible base, its infection of broad swaths of the public, e.g. in Germany and France -- is a pall upon a society whose tone had long been set, in my 78 years, by the Statesman, Eleanor Roosevelt (strong in my personal memory), the Civil Rights Movement, and, in face of the Berlin Wall, Willi Brandt.

In the 18th century, a prevalent atmosphere was set from the Empiricism of David Hume through Immanuel Kant in the Enlightenment -- The Age of Reason, continued in the 19th century by Charles Darwin and our own Transcendentalists (Ralph Waldo Emerson, Henry David Thoreau), Nathaniel Hawthorne, Hermann Melville, Walt Whitman, and the wondrous nobility of Emily Dickinson, followed by powerful Moral forces in the 20th Century, only to finally enter an Age -- it will outlast my remaining years, alas -- of Aryan regression and darkness.

How did we get to the point where the bullhorn of Aryan cacophany captivates the millions of gullible to utterly drown out today's heirs of Martin Luther King?

What countervailing Moral forces can halt he Aryan juggernaut with its murderous ICE (Renee Nicole Good; Alex Pretti among victims of ICE's serial murders)?

Moral voices of Alexandra Ocasio Cortez, Cory Booker, Jasmine Crockett, Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders and Hakeem Jeffries are stifled in the blast of the Aryan cauldron of media monopoly.

I had experienced a long peace, where the moral, unifying voices had set the societal tone.

But now, the Aryan evil has spread in America and across the Atlantic.

We have backbone and are together, thank God.

I won't live to see the Light quench the Aryan darkness.

But our children and grandchildren deserve much better.

I am deeply thankful for beautiful, moral voices, such as yours!

Maybe there is Balm in Gilesd.

During Mass several years ago, I was amused by an eager, If foreign choir, that rang the clarion: "There is, there is a Bomb in Gilead!"
