Monday Quote
“Today, more than ever before, life must be characterized by a sense of Universal Responsibility, not only nation to nation and human to human, but also human to other forms of life.”
- His Holiness The 14th Dalai Lama

A perfect quote for how humans should live on this earth.
Kate Morgan Reade: The red fox is a most beautiful image of the love of neighbor, which must needs include love of fellow creatures.
In morning walks, I often happened upon a beautiful red fox. The shy critter, so magnificent and beautiful beyond her knowledge of herself, would look curiously on me and then move on.
I was privileged on my walks to see red-tailed hawks swoop on prey or feed on prey. I love the red-tailed and other hawks.
Of course I love the squirrels.
On the NASA base on the Gulf Coast, I would happen upon a 'gator, with a very sincere smile, showing all of his shiners, as he basked in the warm sunlight, half submerged in the creek.
I was counsel to civilian physicists in the Navy (with staff, 200-strong) on the Gulf Coast. Now, wouldn't you think that physicists with PhD would know better?! But NASA had to post the sign: "DO NOT FEED THE ALLIGATOR".
I wonder how many of these learned physicist got an evil surprise after feeding the 'gator as if it were a pigeon?!f
Hey, here is a funny thought: (A deep clearing of the throat here:) Sometimes, at a crumby restroom in a seven-day store off the Interstate Freeway, one stands at the stall and at eye level is a pamphlet, often with a bloody crucifixion picture, telling you to recite a short prayer at the end of the pamphlet and you will be saved FOREVER.
Now, imagine the mind that thinks to plant the pamphlet there.
Now, imagine further: That young man thinks His Holiness, the Dalai Lama (and the Pope, for that matter) are GOING TO HELL. If only they would say the little prayer at the end of the pamphlet he had installed over the unsanitary urinal!
OMG! I have seen so much of that in my life! OMG! I have to let go with belly laughs!
YOU always make my day with positivity and beauty in core values of LOVE OF NEIGHBOR WITH NO EXCEPTIONS!
