I am terribly allergic to cats...thats why we have four at the farm. 😂 And they are a TRIP.
Mr. Nell was a kitten when he showed up the night we were moving in to the house. He has since lost a leg (thats another story) but it turns out he only needs three. He's a scrapper.
I like to watch Shadow and Mr. Stripes sit at the edge of the field, patiently waiting to nab their unsuspecting prey and trot proudly back to the house, prey in tow. They are aging now, but still provide endless affection...and we're better people for having them.
I love these tales…of tails! They are SO cool, I agree 100%. All critters, really, in their own ways, but cats are 50 domesticated / 50 wild, so each of them is unique. Aw…Mr. Nell ❤️❤️I always root for the banged up ones.
“They are aging now, but still provide endless affection...and we're better people for having them.” Bullseye 🎯
Emerging from Narnia with 'snow' on his fur 😂 That would have been very amusing.
That's so funny that you have to lock the closet when you're not home, but I completely relate. We have a similar situation with the pantry. We had our kitchen renovated and asked the builder to put a lock on the sliding pantry door and he gave us the strangest look when we said the cat would be straight in there 😂 Our cat IS a Labrador.
Hahaha! I can just picture the look on his face at that request! Good to know we are in the same cat boat. I considered Houdini as a name for him, as well as Dennis the Menace, but alas, Nicholas was his name from the shelter, and so I kept it. Sillybuggers! What are some of your kitty’s favorite verboten items?

Nicholas sounds like quite the character!
I almost named him Dennis the Menace, but Dennis just wasn’t the right name for him! He is certainly not Saint Nicholas, either.
Cat telligence par excellence!
